The other day I mentioned, in passing, several looming deadlines. Well, today I mapped out a precise schedule and came to the following realization: I will need to stop sleeping (and possibly showering and eating) to get what needs doing done.Or, I can follow plan B: cut back on my nutty schedule for a week to save my sanity (and all those around me). There was a time in the not-so-distant past when I would have automatically gone with plan A. But now there is a precious baby and kind, loving husband to consider.
So while it pains me to do so, I will be taking a week-long break from blogging to edit galleys, test some recipes, and otherwise tidy up some projects.
Rest assured, I will be back in a week's time, armed with more tales from my kitchen and some fresh ideas for spring eats.

I miss your blogs! Why aren't you able to write two cookbooks at a time, take care of a toddler, teach multiple classes, develop new award-winning recipes, be a delightful friend & wife, AND blog every day. I'm so disappointed. ~sigh~
